Owl Moon 2022 Statistics: 572 total patients--77 more than in 2021. Top 5 species are Red-Shouldered Hawks (102), Barred Owls (101), Red-Tailed Hawks (66), Osprey (57), and Cooper's Hawks (46). We operated with approximately 60 in-person regular volunteers. The top cause of injury was trauma specifically to the head and eyes, fractures, and soft tissue damage due to vehicle collisions.
