Final Reminders: Owl Moon Raptor Festival

It's festival day! We look forward to seeing you from 12-4 pm today at Black Hill Regional Park. The Owl Moon team has packed the event full of fun activities, talks, and surprises. We plan to release multiple rehabilitated birds with releases at 2 pm and 3:30 pm, so have your cameras ready! For the full Owl Moon Raptor Festival schedule, please visit this page: http://bit.ly/omrcfestival

We have a few reminders ahead of the event:

- The Owl Moon Raptor Center--from the sales table to the raffle to individual donations at tables--are all about the birds. All proceeds go directly to supporting rescue and rehabilitation of injured or sick raptors. Visit the Owl Moon info table and ABCs of Raptor Rehab to learn more about our operations.
- The event takes place at Black Hill Regional Park, and is NOT at Owl Moon Raptor Center. The park provides us with much more space to accommodate all of our festival activities and crowds.
- If you've attended the festival in the past, please note that we're going to be in a slightly different part of the park. We will not be next to the Discovery Center this year; we will be in the area between Picnic Shelters C, I, and J. Click here to see the festival map in Google Maps: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1KVBRcIKQBE2HZ1Qr30BV8PIjbk8xUOc&usp=sharing (you may have to refresh the page to see the festival markers)
- Please park in designated parking spaces only. Cars parked along the roadway will be ticketed by Montgomery County police. We will have signs up directing people from the parking areas to the festival location.

See you soon!
